General Information: National Pesticide Information Center: The National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC) is based at Oregon State University and is cooperatively sponsored by the University and EPA. NPIC serves as a source of objective, science-based pesticide information on a wide range of pesticide-related topics, such as recognition and management of pesticide poisonings, safety information, health and environmental effects, referrals for investigation of pesticide incidents and emergency treatment for both humans and animals, and cleanup and disposal procedure. A toll-free telephone service provides pesticide information to callers in the continental United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Additionally, pesticide questions and comments can be sent to an e-mail address. The Web site has links to other sites and databases for further information. NPIC hotline:1-800-858-7378

All pesticides used for this program are registered for use in schools by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are applied in accordance with the EPA approved label instructions.

Farmington Hills Evening Parent Tour February 20th
The Farmington Hills location will be having an Evening Parent Tour on February 20th, 2014, 5:30-6:30pm. This is a great opportunity for potential families to get more information about Schoolhouse and the programs we offer. We currently serve children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, including Kindergarten. You can also obtain information about our future Elementary program. If you are interested in attending, please call the school and leave your general information. ACES Day
- May 6th is ACES Day: All Children Exercising Simultaneously will be led by Coach Kim from Stretch-n-Grow. Children should wear their comfortable exercise clothing and sneakers.
Mother’s Day celebration 10:15AM or 2:15PM:
- May 7th Thursday: Lilac, Mulberry and Toddlers.
- May 8th Friday: Magnolia, Elementary and Olive.
Zoo Field Trip No School:
- May 15th is Zoo Field Trip for the whole school. All of the forms must be turned in by May11th. Students may ride the bus, if you are using your membership you will drive separately.
- All the students and chaperones are required to wear the SMA green shirt to help us identify the group and keep the group together and safe.
Memorial Day:
- We are closed May 25th due to Memorial Day.
