Exotic Zoo visits Schoolhouse of Canton

Animals abound at Schoolhouse of Canton on Thursday, as we have our first In-house Event of the Summer. Students enrolled in our morning program will have the chance to meet the “predators” of our area! 

Summer School Begins!

June 17th begins our Summer of Fun!!

We would love for you to come to Schoolhouse Montessori of Canton and check out our Summer School program. This is a great time to “try” us out! Families are able to enroll for weeks of their choice (three-week minimum) and the schedules are very flexible! 

Year End Family Picnic: Canton School

Family Picnic Information: 

Come one, come all… to the Canton Family Picnic! Our enrolled families are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 12th at McClumpha Park in Plymouth for our annual Year End Gathering. The park has a gigantic playground, splash pad, walking paths, bike paths and much more! Students may be dropped off at school at 8:30 to be bussed over, or parents/children may meet us there at 9:30. Please bring a picnic lunch (and bathing suit if parent is attending) and we have a great morning planned. Students that are bussed over must be picked up by their parents at the park no later than 12:00 that day. We are looking forward a fantastic day!!!  Please respond to your invitation that was sent home in your child’s daily folder so we know if you will be attending the fun filled event!

Summer School: Enrollment Concludes June 5, 2013

Summer School Information: 

If you are interested in finding more out about the Canton locations Summer School program, please call us as soon as possible. Enrollment concludes on June 5th, in preperation for the camp. Summer School is a great time to get to know the Schoolhouse staff and program- especially if you will be joining us for the school year in September.

Summer Camp runs June 17th through August 23rd. Please note that the week of August 19th-23rd is open only to students enrolled in the 2013/2014 school year, as it is our March Into Montessori Week. 

Our 2013/2014 school year begins on Tuesday, September 3, 2013

Pesticide Application: Canton School June 1, 2013

We just want to notify families that a general pest prevention application will take place June 1, 2013 at the Canton location. The pesticide is a preventative measure to ensure no insects decide to enroll in the school :)! We typically do preventative procedures 4 times a year.

Schoolhouse Montessori Academy Students Donate to Canton Goodfellows

School’s first annual ‘Turkey Trot’ benefit aimed at collecting food for Canton families.

Schoolhouse Montessori Academy‘s First Annual Turkey Trot “was a great success,” according to an email to Canton Patchc from Anjilla Young,family concierge for the school, at 1669 Haggerty Rd.

Students spent part of Wednesday jogging around the school’s parking lot, earning the laps based on donations brought in by their families for the Canton Goodfellows.
