Troy Schoolhouse Montessori Academy Winter Break!
Troy Schoolhouse Montessori Academy will closed for Winter Break December 23rd through January 3rd, 2014. Classes will resume in full swing January 6th, 2014. For your information we have few spaces available for Pre-Primary ages 3-6 years old for January start. Spaces are limited, therefore if you are keen on enrolling your child please contact our admission department at 248-649-6149. Be advised that the available spaces fills up very quickly; we will be delighted to assist you to enroll your child.
Troy Schoolhouse Montessori Academy news blurts!
Believe it or not winter will officially be here soon. These past days we could definitely sense Michigan winter weather. The frigid cold and snow is a sure sign that it could be a harsh one. In spite, of the cold weather the students and teachers at the Troy campus are finishing the year 2013 with great ending. The students, Toddlers all the way to lower elementary, have blossomed and progressed beautifully in all aspects. These areas include academics, social, emotion, maturity and physical.
Besides, achieving all the above mentioned Troy Schoolhouse Montessori Academy students are also given the opportunity to venture out in a different avenue. With that being said, our third annual talent show proves it, after all it was a grand success. All our budding dancers, singers, instrumentalist, poets and much more took the stage and brought the house down. The talents our young students have are incredible.
Troy campus also had the privilege to celebrate holidays around the world, with our own parents doing the presentations. Our classrooms are very unique with different cultures and the diversity helps the students learn about each other. The mulberry classroom finished the week with a beautiful performance of The Nutcracker ballet. We have many more exciting fun filled activities in store for the New Year. Soon we will say good bye to 2013 and welcome 2014!
Toys for Tots Drive! at Schoolhouse Montessori Academy Troy

We are pleased to announce that again this year Schoolhouse Montessori Academy will be participating in the Toys for Tots drive for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. We will be collecting NEW, UNOPENED toys, which will be delivered to children in need this holiday season. If you are interested in donating, you can bring your toy during the dates below. Open House on December 5th 2013
Schoolhouse Montessori Academy of Canton is having an open house on December 5th 2013 from 6-7pm. Come tour our facilty and have all your questions answered by our highly qualified teachers and staff. We look forward to seeing you!

Animals abound at Schoolhouse of Canton on Thursday, as we have our first In-house Event of the Summer. Students enrolled in our morning program will have the chance to meet the “predators” of our area!
Summer School Begins!
June 17th begins our Summer of Fun!!
We would love for you to come to Schoolhouse Montessori of Canton and check out our Summer School program. This is a great time to “try” us out! Families are able to enroll for weeks of their choice (three-week minimum) and the schedules are very flexible!
Year End Family Picnic: Canton School
Family Picnic Information:
Come one, come all… to the Canton Family Picnic! Our enrolled families are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 12th at McClumpha Park in Plymouth for our annual Year End Gathering. The park has a gigantic playground, splash pad, walking paths, bike paths and much more! Students may be dropped off at school at 8:30 to be bussed over, or parents/children may meet us there at 9:30. Please bring a picnic lunch (and bathing suit if parent is attending) and we have a great morning planned. Students that are bussed over must be picked up by their parents at the park no later than 12:00 that day. We are looking forward a fantastic day!!! Please respond to your invitation that was sent home in your child’s daily folder so we know if you will be attending the fun filled event!
Summer School: Enrollment Concludes June 5, 2013
Summer School Information:
If you are interested in finding more out about the Canton locations Summer School program, please call us as soon as possible. Enrollment concludes on June 5th, in preperation for the camp. Summer School is a great time to get to know the Schoolhouse staff and program- especially if you will be joining us for the school year in September.
Summer Camp runs June 17th through August 23rd. Please note that the week of August 19th-23rd is open only to students enrolled in the 2013/2014 school year, as it is our March Into Montessori Week.
Our 2013/2014 school year begins on Tuesday, September 3, 2013
